The Bridge Programme

The Bridge Programme is a new and exciting offer: a ‘funder plus’ model covering a wide range of support needs.

We know that these are challenging times for voluntary sector organisations in London with growing demands on your services against a backdrop of shrinking resources. So, we are piloting this scheme – which is entirely voluntary - to our grantees to help your organisation become stronger and more sustainable. We are working with partner organisations – Cranfield Trust, Locality an Rocket Science, as well as a wider pool of support providers – and City Bridge Trust will not know whether you have taken up support or not; these offers are independent of your funding.

We want the Bridge Programme to help us better understand what support works best for the organisations we fund.  This new programme enables you to access support from impact measurement and fundraising to attending training events or conferences, or receiving ‘backfill’ support to allow you or your team to attend development activities – this is not an exhaustive list, we are aiming to understand your support needs and link you with the right source of support to meet your needs.

At the end of the pilot, we will use what have learnt to roll the programme out more widely.  Hearing about hiccups and blockers will be as important as successes, as we will use the learning (which will be entirely anonymised) to inform the programme in the future.

We really hope you will want to take part in this exciting opportunity to access additional support for your organisation and to help shape how the Bridge Programme develops in the future.
